Manurewa Healthcare is a General Practice clinic and a partner clinic in the Local Doctors network, supported by Tāmaki Health and Total Health PHO.

We take pride in delivering the best possible healthcare to our patients and our local community. Our clinic is family-centred and offers a full range of general practice and accident & medical services, all conveniently located in the heart of the Manurewa town centre.

With our culturally diverse team, you’ll also notice this reflected in the way we greet you. When you walk through our doors, you may hear a warm Kia ora, Talofa, or Mālō e lelei as we welcome you in.

We are on Manage My Health.

Manage My Health is our patient portal, which you can use to book appointments, request repeat scripts, check test results, and access your health records, including immunisation details.

Alysha Clark

Nurse Practitioner

Bachelor of Nursing, Master in Advanced Nurse Practice (Hons) Monday-Thursday Alysha is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in primary care, having worked in the field since 2016. She completed her Master of Advanced Nursing Practice (Nurse Practitioner pathway) in 2024 and joined Manurewa Healthcare the same year. Passionate about long-term condition management and women's health, Alysha brings a patient-centred, holistic approach to her work. As a Nurse Practitioner, Alysha is a highly trained nurse with advanced education and clinical experience. She is qualified to assess, diagnose, and treat health conditions, order tests, prescribe medications, and manage both acute and chronic health issues. Nurse Practitioners play a vital role in improving access to high-quality care and supporting people to take charge of their health. Alysha is also an accredited long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) provider, experienced in the insertion and removal of IUCDs and Jadelle. Hobbies: Going to the gym, Sudoku and Baking

Clinic Manager

With nearly 20 years of experience across hospitals and private practice, Lisa brings a broad background in oncology, radiology, mental health, neurology, and general practice. As Clinic Manager, she leads a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centred care. I’m passionate about fostering resilient teams, promoting equity, and creating a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. Currently, she is completing a Master of Arts in Psychology, due to finish in mid-2026. Focus areas: staff leadership, patient experience, clinical workflows, financial oversight, and quality improvement. Hobbies: Enjoys singing, going to boxing classes, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Victor Wong

Medical Officer (GP)

Monday to Thursday Dr Victor Wong graduated from Otago University in 1981. He commenced general practice in Manurewa in 1986, initially as a solo GP up until 2000. Dr Wong has a Certificate in Sports Medicine and is a fellow of The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners. He has a particular interest in preventative health, sports medicine and accident and medical work. Dr Wong aims to provide the best possible healthcare to his patients and is passionate about healthy lifestyle choices Hobbies: Enjoys spending time with family and good friends, Reading, Running, Cycling, and Relaxation

As a Nurse Prescriber, Lead Nurse, and soon-to-be Nurse Practitioner, Kamaldeep’s passion lies in supporting individuals with long-term conditions, preventing rheumatic fever, and managing skin issues. With a background in community nursing, including experience in home care, spinal injury, wound care and catheter care, she has developed a deep understanding of the unique health needs within the community. In addition to her clinical expertise, Kamaldeep hold a Level 7 qualification in Alcohol and Drug Studies from Auckland College, which has equipped her with specialized knowledge to support individuals struggling with addiction. Her goal is to continue empowering those in South Auckland, particularly in areas where healthcare support is often needed the most. Friday’s only Roshni first registered as a Registered General and Obstetric Nurse (RGON) in 1991 and has dedicated her career to advancing nursing practice and improving patient outcomes. Since 2008, she has worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Diabetes, providing expert care, education, and support to patients and their whānau. In 2015, Roshni became a Designated Registered Nurse Prescriber, enabling her to play an even more integral role in the management of long-term conditions. Her extensive experience and specialist skills make her a vital part of the Manurewa Healthcare team, ensuring patients receive high-quality, holistic, and culturally responsive care.

Outside of work, Wendy enjoys baking treats for her family and friends, spending time in the garden, and exploring New Zealand’s beautiful landscapes.

Her role as a medical receptionist is vital to the smooth running of the clinic, often being the first point of contact for patients and ensuring they feel supported from the moment they walk through the door. Marcia understands the importance of cultural connection and compassionate service in healthcare, and she embodies both every day. Outside of work, Marcia has a passion for sport and community involvement. She enjoys coaching rugby and netball league, helping to mentor the next generation both on and off the field.

Ihapera Mclean (Ngāi Tūhoe)

Casual Medical Receptionist / Future Midwife

Ihapera is the friendly face you'll often meet at the front desk. With experience as both an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and a midwifery student, she's confident in supporting patients and making sure things run smoothly, whether it's triage in person or over the phone. She also brings solid admin skills from her time as an MH receptionist, which makes her a natural at keeping busy clinics organised. Outside of reception, Moko is on her journey to becoming a midwife and is a strong advocate for Māori in the midwifery space. She's passionate about bringing a Māori perspective into healthcare and supporting other Māori midwives along the way.
