An update on our Covid testing centres

During the recent community cases and Level changes, it was great to see the excellent community response as more people sought testing as a precaution. Now that we have returned to semi-normal and we're all feeling safer, it's still important to keep up community testing to monitor and ensure we're entirely clear of community spread.

By getting tested, people are not only alleviating their own worries; they are also significantly contributing to our collective ability to stay on top of the virus and helping to keep each other safe.

There is no need to get a referral or pay to get a covid test. So, if you have any concerns or are displaying symptoms, we highly recommend visiting your nearest testing centre and getting one yourself.

We currently have two dedicated Auckland test clinics within our clinic network, one of which is drive-thru. These are located at White Cross St Luke's and at White Cross Lunn Ave (both open 8am – 8pm seven days), and at St Lukes, you can simply drive in and get a test without having to get out of your car.

2.   Lunn Ave – 110 Lunn Ave, Remuera (Walk-in with dedicated triage in place)

If you can't make it to one of these clinics, most of our other clinics (both White Cross and Local Doctors) around Auckland also offer testing. You can check whether your local clinic conducts Covid tests here. 

We appreciate that getting a test hasn't been smooth sailing for everyone. With some testing centres experiencing large volumes of people recently, we have heard stories about people waiting hours for a Covid test. 

Rest assured, not all testing centres have been experiencing the same traffic. There are busier times of course, but during quiet times currently wait times are often under 30 minutes, and in some cases less than five. Our teams are working hard to get you back on your way with less wait.
